Keeping the Conversation Going

By Barry Worthington, Executive Director, United States Energy Association
and
Clay Nesler, Vice President Global Energy and Sustainability, Johnson Controls, Inc.

Anyone who has been in a relationship for awhile knows the importance of good communications. That's why after 20 years, we decided it's time to make the Energy Efficiency Forum a year-round event – right here at www.eeforum.net. By making the Energy Efficiency Forum website our focal point, we'll be able to provide ongoing information to the people who attend the Energy Efficiency Forum event in person – and those who wish to join the conversation. It's a place to learn, respond and interact on all things concerning energy efficiency and help us carry out the mission that has made the Energy Efficiency Forum the nation's most important event on the topic: To be the premier forum that promotes an energy efficiency ethic through the presentation of national and worldwide views on energy efficiency and the resulting impact on the environment, national security and economic growth.

The website, including our blog and webcasts, will help continue what happens at the national Energy Efficiency Forum in Washington DC:

  • Presenting timely topics in an engaging manner.

  • Providing a wide array of viewpoints on energy issues.

  • Offering an opportunity for feedback.

  • Including noteworthy participants who are involved in policy matters – and expanding involvement throughout the United States and the world.

  • Citing energy efficiency best practices from many sectors, such as manufacturing, services, government, healthcare, education, retail and consumers.

We hope you'll join the conversation on this important topic. So, let us know. WHAT do you think we will be discussing at the Forum event in June? And WHO do you think we should have as speakers?

Let's talk!
