Steven Roell
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Johnson Controls, Inc.

Mr. Roell joined Johnson Controls in 1982 as operations controller for the Systems and Services Division of the company's controls business and was named division controller shortly thereafter. He then served as treasurer and corporate controller, and from 1991 to 2004, as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was elected executive vice president and vice chairmain of the Board of Directors in 2005.

Mr. Roell was elected chief executive officer effective Oct. 1, 2007. He was also elected chairmain of Johnson Controls' Board of Directors effective Jan. 1, 2008.

Mr. Roell is director of Interstate Battery System of America, Inc. and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare Southeast Wisconsin. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Hunger Task Force and the Board of Trustees of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.

Mr. Roell has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from St. Ambrose University. He received a Certificate of Management Development from Northeastern University.

Timothy D. Statton
Director, Bechtel Group, Inc.
President, Bechtel Power Corporation

Tim Statton is the President of Bechtel Power Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors of Bechtel Group, Inc.  Previously, Mr. Statton served as the President of Bechtel Communications, providing site development, engineering and construction of telecommunication infrastructure globally. Mr. Statton is a member of the Board of the U.S. Energy Association, the leading energy trade organization in the U.S.  He is also a member of the PGESCo Board of Directors, a joint stock engineering and construction company in Egypt engaged in designing and building electric power plants.  For seven years prior to its sale, Mr. Statton served as Chairman of the Board of Nexant, an energy consulting company, and was a member of the Board of Control of InterGen, an independent power development company.

C. David Myers
President, Building Efficiency, Johnson Controls, Inc.

C. David (Dave) Myers was named the ninth President of the Johnson Controls Building Efficiency business on Dec. 9, 2005. Previously, he served as CEO for YORK International. Mr. Myers joined York in 1994 as Director of Financial Planning and Controls. That same year, he became Director of Finance, Airside Products Group. He was promoted to Corporate Controller in 1995 and then became Vice President of Finance, Engineered Systems Group in 1998. In 2000, he was named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and then became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2003. Mr. Myers was promoted to President and CEO in 2004. He is a C.P.A. and a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.


Clay Nesler
Vice President, Global Energy and Sustainability, Johnson Controls, Inc.

Clay Nesler is the Vice President, Global Energy and Sustainability for the Building Efficiency business of Johnson Controls. In this role, he is responsible for overall energy and sustainability strategy, policy, communications and innovation on a global basis. He is also a member of the Johnson Controls sustainability leadership team responsible for setting overall sustainability strategy and policy across the corporation.

Since joining Johnson Controls in 1983, Clay has held a variety of leadership positions in technology, new product development, marketing and strategy in both the United States and Europe. He has been active in ASHRAE as an author, speaker and technical committee chairman. He is the recipient of the 2005 CoreNet H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award for development of the Solutions Navigator™ game board-based collaborative planning tool. He is also listed as the co-inventor of ten U.S. Patents. Clay received his BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Clay currently serves on the Wisconsin Governor’s Task Force on Global Warming, the Executive Committee for the Energy Efficiency Forum in Washington, D.C. and the advisory committee for the Climate Registry.
