Forum Partner World Resources Institute Analyzes Emissions Reductions in Energy Bills Currently Before U.S. Congress

New analysis compares emissions reductions in the current Kerry-Boxer and Waxman-Markey bills. WRI has released a new assessment of greenhouse gas emissions reductions that could be achieved under the proposals currently under consideration in the 111th Congress.

This assessment is an update of a previous analysis WRI release on June 29, 2009 and includes an assessment comparing the Manager's Amendment to S.1733 the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act (CEJAPA) sponsored by Senators Kerry and Boxer and H.R. 2454 the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (ACESA) passed by the House of Representatives on June 6, 2009
