The Energy Efficiency Forum is a nonpartisan, noncommercial event that raises awareness for the many benefits of energy efficiency in buildings and transportation. This year’s theme is “Leveraging Innovation to Become an Energy Efficiency Superpower.” We’ll explore leading energy-efficiency technologies, policies and business models that can accelerate progress in the United States and other countries.

2015 Energy Efficiency Forum Preliminary Agenda Set

These speakers have confirmed their involvement at the 26th annual Energy Efficiency Forum, co-sponsored by Johnson Controls and the U.S. Energy Association, held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on the afternoon of June 11, 2015.

As always, the Forum includes speakers with diverse perspectives on energy efficiency. This year’s speakers include a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission commissioner, a Republican Senator from Colorado, an Assistant Secretary of the Army, the former Chairman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and three fast-paced presentations on energy efficiency innovations.

Urging Congress to Agree on Efficiency

WASHINGTON — At the 2013 Energy Efficiency Forum, a continuing topic addressed was energy legislation, specifically the Shaheen-Portman bill, S 761, the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act of 2013.
